| Fellowship Details |
- 9 month core Surgical ICU rotation.
- Broad based multidisciplinary team based approach to critically ill patients. Excellent support team of Nutritionists, Pharmacists, Physical therapists and excellent Nursing staff.
- The SICU has its own dedicated Echocardiography/Ultrasound equipment and fellows are encouraged to learn the use of ultrasound for bedside procedures like thoracentesis, complex central venous line placements.
- Electives can be arranged. Previous electives include Echocardiography, Operating room, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Radiology, Bronchoscopy and Research.
- Regular didactics including Fellow lectures and journal clubs.
- Encouraged to work on independent and ongoing research studies.
- Airway management experience for non Anesthesiology trained Fellows will be arranged.
