Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Positions The University of Iowa Department of Anesthesia has immediate openings for qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) to perform pre-op patient evaluation and coordinate the anesthetic plan in consultation with the Anesthesia faculty physician; administer the anesthetic plan with a team approach in all anesthetizing locations; perform post-op patient evaluation and care; and provide timely documentation of post-op visits on the anesthetic record. Full-time positions with flexible scheduling and minimal call. Basic qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program, current Iowa Nursing License or eligibility and proven clinical competence. Desirable qualifications: Prior experience in the delivery of anesthesia services as a member of an anesthesia care team, M.S. in Nursing or related field; recently verifiable experience as a functional team member in a medical environment.
